I’m excited have a guest post on beauty today from the fabulous Leigh from beflossy.com. I first connected with Leigh through Instagram. She is a beauty product guru, blogger & also posts lots of healthy living recipes & workouts. I also follow her on Pinterest & Facebook (as well as her blog). I asked her to contribute her favorite natural beauty products to yogalina.net for a few reasons. One, I am always looking for great products that are organic or natural. Like the saying goes, “Don’t put anything on your skin you wouldn’t put in your mouth.” Two, being pregnant makes many women stop & think about their beauty routine. There are parabens, sulfates & others to avoid now. It’s a time to make the switch! Thanks Leigh!
Hi ladies! It’s Leigh from beflossy.com! I’m a makeup artist, beauty blogger and a bit of a health nut so when Meg asked me to do a guest post on some of my favorite natural beauty products I jumped at the chance. While I myself don’t use natural products exclusively I do have a few favorites that I’d love to share with you. I hope you enjoy.
This primer is very pricey (1 oz is $52.00), but if you’re looking for a product to splurge on then this is it. Hourglass Veil absorbs excess oil, minimizes pores and softens fine lines all without the use of parabens, sulfates, synthic fragrances, synthetic dyes, etc. A staple in both my personal and professional makeup kits.
This BB cream from Tarte is my current go to foundation.
It’s quick and easy to apply, offers a light to medium coverage and is the best BB Cream I’ve tried to date.
This bronzer leaves your skin looking healthy, glowing and radiant.
A gorgeous peach blush that I tend to wear often.
To be honest I pretty much adore all of the Josie Maran products I’ve tried, but one product in particular that I adore is her eyeshadow. Enriched with pure Argan Oil the shadows blend effortlessly and stay put all day. Try them, I have a feeling you won’t be disappointed.
This is my favorite mascara at the moment. If you’re looking for thick, dramatic lashes with no clumping, smudging or flaking then I highly recommend it!
A gorgeous champagne pink lipstick shade.
I was only recently introduced to the Cailyn Cosmetics gel eyeliner, but it’s quickly becoming a favorite. It’s water proof, smudge proof and is even said to offer 24 hours of wear time! Crazy huh? I haven’t felt the need to test out the 24 hours of wear time part yet, but I do know it’s an amazing liner and perfect for the hot summer days ahead.
Have you tried any of these products?
I’d love to hear from you!
