{product review} Just Hatched Baby Products

Ever since having George I have been on a mission to find the best, cruelty-free products to use on his pure skin. I use primarily organic & paraben free products on myself so naturally I’m looking for the same for my little angel. This winter has been harsh & his skin is showing some dry patches (especially from the wind).

I came across the brand Just Hatched while searching for products online. Their products contain “no yucky stuff inside” so we gave them a try! We got the Soft Baby Body Lotion & the Cuddle My Baby Cream Talc. Both are sulfate, paraben, phthalate free & gluten free.

First we tried the Soft Baby Body Lotion after bath time. We used it as part of our post-bath baby massage routine. It’s light & absorbs into the skin quickly (important with a wiggly baby). It combines essential oils with naturally derived skin conditioners & moisturizers. It’s also hypoallergenic. I like that it contains coconut oil & aloe. It has a light baby fresh smell & easy pump container.

Next bath time we used the Cuddle My Baby Cream Talc. I thought the idea of a cream talc sounded interesting. It is also a mix of natural extracts such as algae, chamomile flower & pomegranate. Just as the name suggest it leaves baby’s skin with a powdery soft feel. It has a slightly stronger fragrance than the lotion.

I tend to look for fragrance free products for myself & for baby. This would be a more of a concern for babies with extra skin sensitivities or allergies. Also, these products are not organic. However they do not contain “yucky” ingredients which is my main priority. Overall, Just Hatched products are yoga baby mama approved!
